Birdeye Data WebSocket Now Supports Meme Token Data: Live Bonding Curve and Graduation Stats on Solana

Birdeye Data has expanded its WebSocket to support meme token data on Solana. Builders can now subscribe to live bonding curve progress, graduation status, and market stats – filtered to exactly what their application needs – using the existing Birdeye Data WebSocket infrastructure.

What’s New?

The SUBSCRIBE_MEME event type is now available on the Birdeye Data WebSocket. It delivers continuous meme token data the moment on-chain state changes, removing the need to poll REST endpoints for fast-moving tokens.

Subscribers can filter by:

  • address: Subscribe to one or more specific token addresses. Omit this field to receive all meme token events.
  • source: Filter by originating launchpad. Supported values: ‘pump_dot_fun’, ‘meteora_dynamic_bonding_curve’, ‘moonshot’, ‘raydium_launchlab’.
  • graduated: Set to true to receive data for graduated tokens only, or false for pre-graduation tokens.
  • progress_percent: Define a min/max range for bonding curve fill %. Use { “min”: 80 } to focus on tokens approaching graduation.
  • creation_time: Filter by token creation timestamp (Unix seconds) to scope your feed to a specific launch window.
  • graduated_time: Filter by graduation timestamp. Only matches tokens that have already graduated.

All filters are optional and can be combined.

Why Meme Token WebSocket Data Matters

Bonding curves fill non-linearly, the final 20% can complete in seconds. REST polling introduces latency that makes it difficult to react to graduation events, liquidity migrations, or rapid price discovery in real time.

The SUBSCRIBE_MEME WebSocket stream is designed for builders who need to act on meme token state as it happens: sniping tools, alert systems, analytical dashboards, and AI agents tracking new launches.

For initial state loading, use the companion REST endpoints:

  • GET /defi/v3/token/meme/detail/single — Full detail for a single meme token
  • GET /defi/v3/token/meme/list — Paginated list with filtering support

The recommended pattern: load initial state via REST, then maintain live state via the WebSocket. No continuous polling required.
