The Wallet – First Tx Funded API for Solana, will help discover the very first funding event of one or more wallets, from onboarding analysis to fraud detection

Wallet First Tx Funded API: Trace Wallet Origins on Solana

When analyzing wallets, one of the most common questions is: When did this address first receive funds?

Whether you’re mapping user onboarding, tracing token adoption, or flagging potentially malicious wallets, the first incoming transaction is often the key to understanding how that wallet began its journey.

That’s exactly what the new Wallet First Tx Funded API delivers.

A New Lens on Wallet Behavior

The endpoint gives you the very first funding event for any wallet on Solana. For up to 50 wallets per request, you’ll get the transaction hash, block time, funded amount, token address, and raw balance details.

Need to track the first time a wallet receives a specific token? Add the token_address filter, and the API will return the initial funding event for that asset only.

Why This Matters

This isn’t just about timestamps. By pinpointing when wallets first get funded, developers can:

  • Analyze growth cohorts and track adoption curves
  • Detect newly activated wallets that may pose security risks
  • Study early token distribution patterns to uncover adoption signals

From growth teams to security researchers, the insights from this endpoint go far beyond surface-level wallet data.

Start Building Today

Using it is simple: send a POST request to /wallet/v2/tx/first-funded with a list of wallet addresses (up to 50). Optionally add a token filter. The response comes back with full transaction details and funding data.
