New APIs on BDS that allow you to retrieve key metrics for a specific trading pair across multiple timeframes, including trading volume, wallet activity, and trade history.

Accessing precise pair-specific data previously required multiple API calls, resulting in inefficiencies and potential inaccuracies.
Birdeye’s new Pair Overview APIs — Single and Multiple — resolve this challenge by delivering accurate and comprehensive metrics for one or multiple crypto trading pairs in a single request. Designed to empower various web3 use cases, these APIs optimize resource use and enhance user experiences with deeper, more reliable pairs’ insights.
Pair Overview — Single API provides key metrics for a specific trading pair across multiple timeframes (i.e., 30 minutes, 1 hour, 12 hours), including trading volume, wallet activity, and trade history. With customizable requests based on the pair’s address and blockchain network, this API offers flexibility to suit a wide range of use cases.
This endpoint is available to BDS users on the Starter package and higher tiers.
Pair Overview — Multiple API retrieves key metrics for up to 20 trading pairs across various timeframes in a single request, streamlining data retrieval and eliminating the need for multiple API calls. This approach saves both time and resources, while enabling BDS customers to deliver faster insights for multiple pairs and provide a more seamless experience for their end-users.
Currently, this endpoint is available to our Business and Enterprise users.
Before the Pair Overview APIs, enterprise users relied on the Token Overview API to access token data. To retrieve pair-specific metrics, they had to make multiple API calls for each token’s trading volume, wallet activity, and trade history, then manually combine the data — an inefficient process prone to errors and inaccuracies when reflecting pair data.
The Pair Overview APIs (Single and Multiple) address this challenge by providing precise metrics for one or multiple trading pairs in a single request. With the ability to specify pair addresses and blockchain networks, these APIs optimize resource use, improve data accuracy, and enhance platform functionality, delivering a seamless experience for end users.
DEXes can use the Pair Overview APIs to display real-time performance metrics for specific pairs and other key data directly within their platform. This native integration eliminates the need for multiple data sources, empowering end-users to make more informed trading decisions and boosting platform satisfaction.
Algorithmic trading platforms can leverage the Pair Overview APIs to track metrics like volume changes and trade counts, helping them or their users identify optimal trading opportunities. This integration enables automated decision-making based on real-time pair data, ensuring more reliable trades and minimizing errors for improved profitability.
Integrating the Pair Overview APIs allows crypto wallets to enhance user experience by enabling users to:
Crypto analysis platforms can integrate the Pair Overview APIs to provide in-depth analysis of single or multiple pairs. This enables users to spot emerging trends and market anomalies more efficiently using batch data for deeper insights.
The Pair Overview APIs are a game-changer for web3 platforms, providing seamless access to precise, pair-specific data while eliminating inefficiencies and inaccuracies of outdated methods. By integrating these APIs, businesses can unlock deeper insights, streamline operations, and deliver a superior experience to their end-users — empowering them to make smarter, data-driven decisions in an ever-evolving crypto market.
